Summary

The objective of this role is to transform our Logistics and Artwork & Packaging Divisions through measurable increased efficiencies, reduced costs and overall operating performance improvements.

What you'll do

  • Ensures all production occurs in line with Lidl’s strict Ethical Sourcing Policies
  • Ensures programs & policies are in place to provide the safest working environment attainable
  • Review, streamline and successfully re-deploy the Lidl & Kaufland Asia A&P and Logistic’s Operating Standards.
  • Proactively support internal and external stakeholders that ensure our shipments release as planned and forecasted.
  • Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards, and the A&P and Logistics process is bullet proof against any internal or international audit requirements. 
  • Ensure all agreed ways of working are defined, documented, and deployed across the business. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans (Forecasting and Planning for on time shipment processes and develop cost effective options for delayed shipments.)
  • Develop and implement KPIs to track and evaluate the performance of logistics operations. Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements. 
  • Lead the initiation of new strategies to streamline processes, find cost-effective solutions for current A&P and logistic processes not optimised and implement measures to reduce expenses.
  • Ensure the operations across A&P and Logistics maximize output per headcount by having defined base-lines and identify opportunities for optimization. 

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's and or Master's Degree in Business, Business/Administration, 
  • At least 10 years experience in sizable company in Europe with at least 5 years experience in managerial level 
  • In depth technical knowledge in Artwork, Packaging and Logistics Processes.  
  • Good command in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, German speaking is an advantage 
  • Strong communication skills and computer literacy
