Summary

Lidl and Kaufland Asia are hiring a Senior Quality Inspection Consultant supports inspection coordination, monitors QC reports, and ensures factories comply with quality standards. This role focuses on execution, data analysis, and assisting in process improvements.

What you'll do

•    Work with QCs to ensure inspections (DuPro, Inline, Final) are completed on schedule.  

•    Assist in scheduling and monitoring inspections (DuPro, Inline, Final) conducted by QCs (internal & third-party).  

•    Review inspection reports, track defects, and ensure timely corrective actions (CAPs) with QCs and factories.  

•    Maintain inspection logs and update quality dashboards for management review.  

•    Verify that production follows Lidl’s Ethical Sourcing Policies and quality guidelines.  

•    Support Pre-Production meetings by preparing documentation and following up on ac-tion items.  

•    Participate in Pre-Production meetings and follow up on action items.  

•    Verify factories adhere to Lidl’s Ethical Sourcing Policies.  

•    Support CAP (Corrective Action Plan) implementation for non-conformities. 

•    Notify management of critical quality issues.  

•    Maintain inspection logs and update stakeholders on inspection completion and result.  

•    Assist in developing quality control checklists and training materials.  

•    Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. 

•    Support Quality Consultants to oversee inspection status and results.

What you'll need

•    Required: 3-5 years of experience in technical and quality control operations 

•    Required: Strong technical and quality background and supervisor role 

•    Experience in ISO9000, 6 sigma, LEAN, FMEA, Constant Improvement techniques, Project Management

•    Desired: Laboratory knowledge related to chemical and physical test requirements 

•    Desired: Experience working with multi-national companies

•    Good command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin

•    Strong communication skills and computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)

•    A can do attitude with entrepreneurial spirit is a must

•    Occasional travel may be required
