(Senior) Process Design Manager - SG
Summary
• To lead and manage the development and implementation of strategic projects
• To manage the execution of projects within the division or across departments in Lidl & Kaufland Asia.
• To review process related topics within the division or across department in Lidl & Kaufland Asia.
• To support successful system rollouts by bridging the business needs of operational teams (sourcing, Merchandising, Development, Quality and Production Support) and the IT / System implementation teams.
• To collaborate with merchandising team on projects and act as the interface to other departments to align, design and improve the collaboration between different functions.
What you'll do
• Management responsibility of the Process Design Team.
• To implement projects under the guidance of department director.
• Lead and drive strategic initiatives, analyse data, develop concepts, and provide valuable insights to facilitate strategic planning and business growth.
• Conduct research and analyse relevant data to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes, identify trends, opportunities and risks that impact the organization's strategic goals.
• Identify process improvement opportunities through continuous collaboration with the World of Needs departments and other teams in the company.
• Play a vital role in providing solutions to critical business issues and decisions, to achieve process improvement and efficient operations.
• Prepare and present reports and findings, presentations, and recommendations to management, and key stakeholders.
• On-going process review and improvement from planning to execution.
• Provide process design services for all World of Needs.
• Provide support in ad hoc projects as needed.
What you'll need
• University graduate or above in Business Administration/Project Management/ Operations Management.
• Extensive experience in process or project management and implementation, relevant experience in trading or buying offices will be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in leadership roles.
• Knowledge and hands on experience in areas of operations transformation, business process improvement is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong problem-solving skills, logical and methodical approach to problem solving with ability to think innovatively.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
• Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex information into actionable recommendations.
• Passionate leader with vision, results orientation, high energy and a focus on execution.
• Team player, able to build relationships and establish credibility at all levels in the organization.
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to lead and manage others.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Ability to travel by air and must have valid passport for international travel
