Quality Assurance Manager (Electrical)

Lidl & Kaufland Asia are hiring a Quality Assurance Manager join our electrical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for below tasks,
Support the Senior Quality Assurance Manager in supervising and handling the QA team on all related matters.
Validate that work is performed accurately, analyse errors and resolve problems
Assist the progress of facilitating daily operations and supervise the Quality Assurance team
Meet or exceed customer expectation
Ensure products comply with industry standards and regulations
What you'll do
Leading a team of Quality Assurance Consultants
Organize the teams’ structure & drive the operation to support company strategy and cultivate corporate culture and routine
Oversee, maintain and continuously improve the quality system and drive quality improvement programs
Initiate Risk Assessments and develop corrective and preventive action plans to enhance quality performance
Provide supports to review lab tests and inspection reports and receiving reports on time
Ensure completeness of all documents related to tests, inspections, special product requirements
Liaise on issues and product requirements related to the 3rd party laboratory testing in Germany of related product groups
PP/Qualification-sample review with the team and cross-functional teams
Direct co-operation with factories for problem solving in case of technical/chemical/Fitness for Use issues during production
Direct co-operation with the Product Development Team
Travel is required for this role
What you'll need
Minimum of 6 - 8 years of work experience in a quality assurance position, with 2-3 years work experience in leadership functions
Experience in 3rd party testing laboratory with Retailer exposure or experience in international EU/US trading or sourcing offices required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, Master's degree or equivalent of an advante in field of Engineering, Science or related disciplines
Fluency in English required, Cantonese, Mandarin and German of an advantage
Strong understanding of laboratory and inspection reports
Adequate interpretation and comprehension of legal documents
Strong sense of quality processes
Negotiation Skills
Budget planning
Knowledge of work flow of a trading, buying or sourcing office
Very good understanding of hardgoods mass production manufacturing procedures
Deep knowledge of EU and US retail market
Proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel and Power Point skills required
