Summary

The objectives of the position are to manage the product development team and coordinate the process from concept and sample creation to pre-production and product roll-out in accordance with the company's strategic planning.

What you'll do

  • Lead Product Development department to develop new products and ideas
  • Execute and manage innovation
  • Conduct market research on product trends of Garden tools (manual and electrical) products
  • Coordinate product development process from concept to pre-production stage including design, theme board preparation, styling confirmation and sample production
  • Manage and keep track of design and development work flow
  • Conduct product review and suggest action plan for product development enhancement

What you'll need

  • Knowledge of Garden Power Tools and Garden Hand Tools.
  • Significant and relevant experience in product development. Management experience is beneficial.
  • Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel and Power Point), beneficial if known to Adobe Creative Suite (Design CAD), Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, etc.
  • Must be proactive and committed to working in a dynamics environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills across all levels of the organisation
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English. Additional language skills in Mandarin, German or Cantonese are good to have but not essential, as the incumbent may need to communicate with stakeholders from Germany HQ, Hong Kong and China offices.
