Internship in Hand Tools

As be invited to return for the second internship at Lidl & Kaufland Asia and become one of the members in DIY Gardening Team, I felt very excited, and it reflects the confidence placed in me. Last year, I joined the merchandising team in Power Tools. I have actively involved in those critical supply chain functions such as price negotiation and supplier coordination. Those experiences shape my professional identity and reinforcing my commitment to the career in supply chain management.

This year, I have had the privilege to come back and joined the product development team in Hand Tools. For these two chances, I would have a wide picture in team’s operations, from the stage of receiving order list to final shipment. My job responsibility this year is to provide valuable research in different product category in order to sort out our brand’s gap compared with other importers and competitors. It makes to understand more about various product’s functions.

Thank you for my team, lending a helping hand to me with passion and makes my internship experience unforgettable and fruitful. For my next step, I would start my postgraduate study in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in the coming year. It will help me to lay a solid foundation in supply chain industry.

Partings are always sudden. And soon will be my last day here. Wish all team members success in their work!
