Summary
The objective of the position is to assist the Senior Infrastructure Manager to set up and maintain the system and network infrastructure of the company.
What you'll do
The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her superior:
- Setup, install and maintain the hardware and software of the company
- Responsible for daily system operations activities and network maintenance
- Maintain hardware and software inventory
- Troubleshooting and solve any IT related problem
- Support the network, systems and applications
- Provide daily support to end users and perform help desk function if needed
What you'll need
- Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in technical support
- Hands-on experience of TCP / IP, network troubleshooting and networking equipment such as firewalls and switches
- Strong knowledge in Windows Server configuration, Lotus Notes, Active Directory
- Strong troubleshooting skills with PC / Server (both software / hardware)
- Knowledge in Linux MSSQL, NetBackup
- Experience in programming such as PHP, MS Access or VBA is a plus but not compulsory
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Good command of written and spoken Mandarin, Cantonese or German is a plus to liaise with Mandarin, Cantonese and/or German speaking only stakeholders
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Willing to learn and self motivated
