Summary
Lidl and Kaufland Asia is hiring Senior Regulatory Supply Chain Specialist to join our regulatory supply chain team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties,
- Monitor social or enviornmental non-compliance findings from our factory evaluations, third party audits, grievance mechanisms or NGOs.
- Ensure a compliant producer base by verifying, analysing, and remediating such findings together with local teams via root cause analysis, CAP or training.
What you'll do
• Ensures all factories and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, Lidl’s policies and procedures
• Verifies non-compliance findings from internal team or third-parties and advises on severity
• Conducts investigations on non-compliances in our supply chain together with our local teams, documents findings and advises on remediation actions
• Monitors factories’ progress on remediation and participates in escalation meetings
• Supports the rollout of new regulatory requirements and other related initiatives
• Supports the development, initiation and maintenance of policies and procedures for the general operation of the Regulatory Supply Chain Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct
• Maintains knowledge on all required regulations and designs required documentation and training programs for compliance procedures
• Supports the development and delivery of technical training to internal staff and factories
• Attends educational and professional development programs to improve your job knowledge and enhance the compliance department's reputation.
What you'll need
• At least 3 – 5 years relevant experience with Social Compliance audit standards (BSCI, SA8000 or equivalant standards a must) or Responsible Sourcing Programs
• In depth understanding of social and environmental compliance requirements
• Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Sound PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Quick learning with good communication skills and a good commamd of English
• Able to work independently with limited or no supervision
• Detail oriented but able to quickly grasp big picture
• High sense of responsibility, high degree of work eithcs and integrity
• Ability to tactfully and effectively attain adherence to quality control standards and practices.
• Good communication skills
• Intercultural skills to effectively collaborate with local teams in Asian sourcign countries
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Able to travel
