Summary
Lidl Asia are hiring Senior Production Support Manager in Production Support - Hardgoods department. The successful candidate will be responsible to lead and develop a team of quality control specialists (Including 3rd party) who perform in factory inspections and tests on finished products at various stages of mass production.
What you'll do
• Ensure all production occurs in line with Lidl’s strict Ethical Sourcing Policies
• Ensure programs & policies are in place to provide the safest working environment attainable
• Develop the manufacturing plan and establishes procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to the required level of Quality standards
• Develop and implement controls that ensure delivery is on time but not at the expense of Quality
• Direct and monitor department managers to accomplish goals of the manufacturing plan, consistent with established manufacturing and safety procedures.
• Develop and retain a high performing team through effective hiring, coaching, performance management and training
• Identifies, recommends and implements changes to improve productivity, reduced cost and improved data collection and analysis
• Identifies bottlenecks impacting continuous improvement and removes that from the way of working
• Directs and coordinates various programs essential to manufacturing procedures (e.g. Kick Off and PP Meetings, training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, worker involvement, security, etc.)
• Initiates and coordinates major projects (e.g. Manufacturing Excellence of the active Factory base, Improved lead times of factories, Right products, right factories etc.)
• Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required
• Drive continuous improvement, simplification and efficiencies of the QC processes
What you'll need
• Required: 10+ years of progressively responsible job experience in manufacturing operations and 5+years of progressive management experience in leadership roles
• Desired: Experience working with multi-national companies

• Passionate leader with vision, results orientation, high energy, a bias for action and a focus on execution
• Team player able to build relationships and establish credibility at all levels in the organization
• Strong problem solving and creative skills combined with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
• Ability to communicate clearly and present information in a concise and effective way at all levels in the organization
• Experience with Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma or similar efficiency improvement programs
• Proven track record in controlling costs to budget, preferably manufacturing variance management
• Proficient computer skills including use of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new programs
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Ability to lead and manage others
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Ability to travel approximately 35% of the time by air and must have valid passport for international travel
