Summary

Lidl & Kaufland Asia are hiring a (Senior) Production Support Engineer to join our production support hardgoods team. The successful candidate will be responsible for below tasks,

  • Drive quality controlled,  on time production through key building blocks like Kick off meeting, Pre - Production meetings, Production schedule, CAPs, QC inspection program.

What you'll do

  • Ensure all production occurs in line with Lidl HK SOP

  • Ensures all production occurs in line with Lidl’s strict Ethical Sourcing Policies

  • Takes control and leads all Pre-Production meetings in factory 

  • Provide manufacturing technical support and procedure to improve quality levels and production efficiency when identified

  • Notify key stakeholders of any major or critical production and quality issues identified whilst in factory and follow up and close off outstanding CAPs with the supplier in question

  • Collaborate with the Lidl China QC team & Lidl Agency for offshore countries to oversee production quality and delivery schedules

What you'll need

  • Diploma or degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or at least 5 years’ experience as engineer in the required product category

  • Autonomous, proactive, detailed and commercially minded

  • Good command of both spoken and written English and fluent in Mandarin

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications Word

  • A can do attitude with entrepreneurial spirit is a must
