Summary
The objective of the position is to assist Administration and Cross Functions to create transparency on financial performance, profit, cost and operational KPIs.
What you'll do
The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her superior:
- Support the financial planning and forecasting process for the region in Anaplan and Excel
- Responsible for the preparation of the financial reporting to HQ and to the Leadership Team, including Actual vs. Budget deviation explanations in the P&L
- Business Partner to an assigned business area (Administration, Cross Functions) as the key point of contact for the respective Managers
- Provide decision support analysis, modelling financial impacts of initiatives
- Create Dashboards and Financial Analysis in Excel and PowerPoint
- Identify and implement ongoing process improvements and cost efficiencies for the organization and target to deliver process simplification and driving efficiencies
- Support any ad hoc analysis required for business
What you'll need
- Degree holder, major in Business, Accounting & Finance or other related discipline
- Extensive experience as a business controller
- A minimum of 6 years relevant professional work experience preferably in sizable MNC
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Excel skills (e.g., Macro)
- Good knowledge of a Business Intelligence System (preferably Oracle BI or Oracle Analytics)
- Familiarity with Financial systems such as SAP and preferably Oracle Essbase and Anaplan
- Independent, proactive, and well organised with a focus on detail and accuracy
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, fluent English speaking with German an advantage
