What will you do?

We are running a search for textile professionals specializing in Quality Assurance for the Singapore office! Less experienced candidates will be considered for a junior or assistant position.


  • Handle all technical-related tasks and functions from design concept to sample approval processes
  • Provide technical advice to supplier, review and approve the product
  • Create measurement charts for costing and sampling purposes, with a keen eye for grading
  • Check garment fitting on dummies and live fit models
  • Check and amend paper pattern, collect and store in the system digital pattern after fit approval
  • Measure samples
  • Comment on pre-production samples, check sample appearance before and after wash (if applicable)
  • Check workmanship and give recommendations on how to improve the workmanship
  • Update all company systems and lists related to above tasks on a daily basis
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure company standards are achieved (this also relies on supplier’s ability)
  • Communicate to suppliers the buyers’ sample specifications and requirements
  • Initiate Pre- Production Handover Meetings (production teams may require help from technicians but not entirely important)
  • Support and guide all members of the QA team with experience and knowledge, where needed
  • Implement and help technical manuals and standards

What will you need?

  • Polytechnic / ITE graduate in Textile or related studies
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience in the relevant field
  • Technical competence to do fitting, technical assessment, and pattern adjustment
  • Strong knowledge of raw materials, pattern development, and technical garment constructions and processes
  • Good command of written and spoken English; of other languages, an advantage
