What you'll do
The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her superior:
- Conduct research regarding new relevant technologies and products
- Collaborate with merchandising and sourcing teams and factories regarding technical & engineering aspects of product development
- Discuss and follow-up with factories on product specifications, price quotations and sample preparation
- Prepare offer presentations with price quotes to buyers in EU Headquarter
- Prepare product renderings
- Provide support to ad hoc assignment when necessary
In addition to the listed tasks, the holder of the position is obliged to implement separate projects upon request by the superior which result from operational requirements.
What you'll need
- Higher Diploma or above
- 3 years of product development experience in Leisure Products
- Good sense of market trends of hardgoods products
- Familiar with MS Office, in particular powerpoint
- Solidworks (or similar CAD software), Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop an advantage
- Proactive, self motivated and able to work independently towards tight deadlines
- Accurate and detail-oriented in follow-ups and status trackings
- Able to work together with cross functional teams
- Experience with European companies/markets/designs
- Factory experience/having experience dealing with suppliers in Leisure Products
- Active in sports or outdoor activities
