Summary

Lidl & Kaufland Asia are hiring a Merchandiser to join our merchandising lighting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for below task,

•    Monitor the whole order process from end to end

•    Negotiation with suppliers to achieve profit targets

•    Supports Line Manager 

What you'll do

•    Contributes on the evaluation and monitor the factories for continuous improvement and business development

•    Follow up on the sampling process 

•    Manage quotations, price analysis and price negotiations with supplier 

•    Work closely with product development team on development and supports the follow up 

•    Monitors the end to end process and critical path management within the merchandising team and through day to day liaison with supply chain and supporting departments 

What you'll need

•    Tertiary level education 

•    Merchandising experience with technical background in lighting would be preferred

•    Good commercial sense and negotiation skills with suppliers

•    Good command of written and spoken English & Mandarin 

•    Proactively anticipate issues and provide problem solving wherever necessary.

•    Works well under pressure, effectively handles conflict and demonstrates flexibility in work style whenever necessary

•    With the ability to learn and seek advise when required

•    Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel and Power Point)
