Summary
Lidl & Kaufland Asia is hiring a Merchandiser (Electrical Home Appliances) to join our kitchen appliance (motor driven) team. The successful candidate will help develop suppliers portfolio and manage the orders for this category.
What you'll do
- Responsible to perform merchandising duties to generate business for the company
- Developing new product range with suppliers
- Product Category : Kitchen appliances (motor driven , Breakfast set and beverage)
- Strong market intelligent, researching and monitoring industry trends and consumer behaviour to anticipate demand and changes in buying patterns
- Research, liaise and identify capable factories from product sourcing, development to price negotiation
- Monitor order tracking activities to meet market requirements in terms of quality & specification to ensure on time delivery
- Negotiations with supplier
- Co-ordinating with cross functional teams (QA, Production, Artwork & Logistic teams)
- Ensure validate samples to have a complete evaluation to meet customer expectation
What you'll need
- Tertiary level education
- Minimum 3 years of merchandising experience in the European market in Electrical Home Appliances
- Experience in motor driven (food preparation), Breakfast set and beverage (Kettle, Toaster, coffee maker, espresso, machine)
Possess strong project management skills and detail orientated mindset to ensure timely production and delivery schedules are met - High degree of work ethics and integrity
- Must be self motivated, self organized, responsible, hard working and independent
- Experience in liaising with factories and suppliers
- Good communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Travel required
