IT Senior Business Analyst
Summary
The objective of the position is to collaborate with business units and external vendors leveraging technology to enhance business operations.
What you'll do
- The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her superior:
- Assist the IT Business Solutions Manager in leading and developing a team of Business Analysts
- Collaborate with business users to identify process improvement opportunities using technology
- Lead/Participate to workshops in order to collect clear requirements to support project implementation
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, guiding the implementation of systems
- Assist in designing and implementing streamlined processes
- Prepare project documentation (business blueprint document, business requirements document, schedule, etc.), and trainings materials.
- Work closely with external software vendors to ensure smooth software development, implementation and maintenance
- Ensure all agreed deliverables are delivered in a timely manner and to an optimal level of quality
- Facilitate UAT workshops with users.
- Provide a second line of support to users
- Identify and resolve technical issues
What you'll need
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the product development, sourcing or retail industry
- Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably IT- based
- Advanced Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Visio) and other BPM Software skills
- Knowledge of JIRA / Confluence
- A firm understanding of software development methodologies
- Good understanding of Sourcing office operations
- Good organization, interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Self-motivated, analytical-mind and excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is a must
