Summary

In this newly created role as HR Executive under Lidl Asia’s HR team based in the Singapore office, you will report to the Senior HR Manager and support the Singapore-based employees on HR related questions as part of the Employee Experience. The role will also be responsible for Engagement and the roll out of local HR Initiatives.  In addition, the role will support the HR Director to coordinate overall Administrative matters.  The role will develop HRBP skills for the incumbent, while focusing on Employee Engagement. 

What you'll do

  • Support all Singapore HR activities associated with an employee life cycle including but not limited to onboarding of new hires, responding to welfare and benefits queries from the staff, generation of HR/management reports and off boarding management.
  • Work under the guidance of the Senior HR Manager to support the business needs in all are-as of HR.
  • Work under the guidance of the Senior HR Manager to execute HR activities that support Government Accreditations, Colleague Engagement, Staff Wellness, Colleague Performance.
  • Support the Senior HR Manager in ensuring our HR policies are relevant/updated and our HR practices are in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Support the HR Director in the management of HR-related admin tasks, e.g., coordinating and organizing of HR-related invoices; scheduling meetings on HRD’s direction, communication support etc.
  • Work alongside other HR specialist teams to support the delivery of their projects in HR Operations, Talent, Recruitment, Learning & Development and Systems.

What you'll need

  • Have 1-2 years of professional experience in HR generalist roles ideally in a fast paced and high performing environment; with recent roles in employee relations and/or engagement.
  • Able to work independently and as a team player
  • Be proactive, motivated, has excellent judgement as well as great people and communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • Excellent work attitude with a strong ability to manage stress in a professional manner
  • Diploma in HR Management or related fields; IHRP certified professional optional.
