Lidl and Kaufland Asia is hiring a Graphic designer to join our Artwork & Packaging-Design Team. The successful candidate will be responsible to lead conception, draft and development of layouts for sales packaging that ensure finalised printable files are completed inline with set milestones.

•    Ensure all allocated artwork required are developed and completed by the deadlines set 

•    Look for continuous improvement within all areas so refinement to the process can be made which achieves a more effective and efficient process 

•    Have detailed and accurate knowledge of the process so required information is obtained accurately and efficiently 

What you'll do

•    Follow guidelines accurately for how logos and other branding materials should be displayed and used. 

•    Help make improve design choices (e.g., fonts and colors) for all content our company will use. Suggestions to management always welcomed. 

•    Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval. 

•    Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software. 

•    Work with other creative team members to produce content. 

•    Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed. 

•    Communicating timely with key stakeholders about layout and design. 

•    Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, with software such as Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop. 

•    Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary. 

•    Obtain input from managers to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company appropriately 

•    Work independently as well as cooperatively with Lidl & Kl Asia as well as Kaufland Int. to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which will include multiple projects simultaneously. 

•    Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilities 

What you'll need

•    Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field. 

•    Experience as a graphic designer in private brand related merchandise.  

•    Demonstrable graphic design skills including the use of style guides with a strong portfolio. 

•    Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Adobe Acrobat, Pho-toshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator. 

•    A strong eye for visual composition. 

•    Solid knowledge in output production, photo retouching and printing process 

•    Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. 

•    Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design. 

•    Experience with computer-aided design. 

•    Decision Making: Good decision-making skills to be able to complete key tasks in or-der or priority.  

•    Passionate, self-motivated individual who collaborates well with others. 

•    Able to give and receive constructive feedback. 

•    Good command of both spoken and written English (German Language is an ad-vantage)
