Summary
Lidl & Kaufland Asia are hiring Compliance Manager (6 months contract) in our Legal & Compliance department. The successful candidate will support Compliance Unit in the Company and provide advice and support for the different business units in relation to compliance related matters.
What you'll do
Compliance:
• Assist in the implementation, monitoring and improvement of an effective compliance program which is in line with the group requirements, including drafting policies, manag-ing compliance training programs, raising awareness level of the compliance program and compliance-relevant policies within the Company
• Monitoring of and reporting on changes in the legal and regulatory landscape relevant to the Company
• Assist in the cooperation with different internal stakeholders to improve the internal con-trols
• Report on compliance risks, possible measures, training, and further development of the compliance program and compliance-relevant topics
• Assist in the preparation and creation of compliance materials, such as leaflets / booklets for internal and external communication
• Assist in conducting internal investigations in relation to compliance matters including fraud, corruption, violation of the law and/or company policies
• Providing advice to the different business units and employees on compliance issues
Data protection:
• Monitor data protection laws applicable to the company’s operation
• Advise the company of its obligations and risks under relevant data protection laws
• Develop and implement policies, processes and standard documents to ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws
What you'll need
• University degree holder in law with at least 3 years legal or compliance experience
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Able to work independently
• Solutions-oriented and commercial thinker
• Willing to learn new skills and take on more responsibility
• Good command of both written and spoken English is essential, Cantonese and German is a plus
