Summary

Lidl are hiring a a Compliance Manager to join the Legal team.  The successful candidate will provide advice and suport for the business units in relation to Compliance based matters. They will also assist in the implementation, monitoring and improvement of an effective compliance program which is in line with the group requirements, including drafting policies, managing compliance training programs, raising awareness level of the compliance program and compliance-relevant policies within the Company

What will you do?

Compliance:
•    Assist in the implementation, monitoring and improvement of an effective compliance program which is in line with the group requirements, including drafting policies, managing compliance training programs, raising awareness level of the compliance program and compliance-relevant policies within the Company
•    Assist in conducting internal investigations in relation to compliance matters including fraud, corruption, violation of the law and/or company policies
•    Monitoring of and reporting on changes in the legal and regulatory landscape relevant to the Company
•    Assist in the cooperation with different internal stakeholders to improve the internal controls
•    Report on compliance risks, possible measures, training, and further development of the compliance program and compliance-relevant topics
•    Assist in the preparation and creation of compliance materials, such as leaflets / booklets for internal and external communication 
•    Providing advice for the different business units and employees on compliance issues
•    Liaise with the group compliance team regarding compliance requirements and coordinate implementation in Asia


Legal and other work:
•    Support the Legal and Compliance Department on general legal work, regulatory matters, special projects and manage corporate secretarial work

What will you need?

    Written and spoken German language skill is essential
•    At least 3 years (ideally 5 years and above) of legal, compliance, internal audit, or risk management experience
•    Ideally university degree holder in law or related discipline
•    Good organizational skill
•    An eye for detail
•    Strong interpersonal and communications skills
•    Able to work independently
•    Solutions-oriented and comercial thinker
•    Willing to learn new skills and take on more responsibility
•    Good command of both written and spoken English language skill, Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus
