Summary
Lidl and Kaufland Asia is hiring an Assistant Product Designer to join our Home Textile team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating impactful, fresh, progressive, and commercially appealing original graphics, artworks, and pattern designs to be used for the team.
What you'll do
The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her superior:
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure holistic collection vision is on point
- Illustrates designs by hand and software
- Conceptualize visuals and colors based on briefing
- Sensitivity to Intellectual Property
- Creative handwriting
- Keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Understand and build a graphic range for Home Textile products
What you'll need
- Artistic, talented, inspiring, with a strong portfolio to understand the candidate strengths
- College or bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Textile Design
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Graphic Design in textile is ideal
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills working in a diverse and multicultural environment
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
