Assistant Merchandiser - Food (Contract)

Summary

Lidl & Kaufland Asia are hiring an Assistant Merchandiser (contract until 31st Dec 2024) to join our Food Merchandising team.

The objectives of the position are to:

• Assist in the order process

• Assist in the sourcing process of of suppliers

• Provide assistance to the Merchandising Team 

What you'll do

• Provide assistance to team

• Assist daily operations with Merchandisers

• Assist follow up of orders from sampling, production and shipment

• Support preperation of pricing process

• Support preperation of sourcing process of suppliers

• Assist follow up on packaging process

• Help pricing and negotiation with suppliers

• Work closely with QA, QC and logistics department

• Provide clerical support such as data entry

What you'll need

• Form 6 or above

• At least 1 year of merchandising experience

• Good communication in both spoken and written English and conversational Mandarin

• Detail oriented mindset

• Must be motivated, organised, responsible, hardworking, independent, and supportive

• Good working attitude and willing to learn, good team player 

• Proficient in MS Office

• Supply chain
