What you'll do
During your placement, you will work in our HK office and your rotations will be exposed to the following areas within the business:
- Quality Hardgoods Teams
- Production Support
- Quality Control
You will be at the helm of our Quality Hardgoods teams and gain diverse experience working alongside our QA Consultants, Technicians and Factories; gaining hands on experience in sample testing and handling.
What to expect during the programme
From the first day, you will receive an orientation to the company’s QA processes, tools and methodologies. Following this you will participate in thorough training programs regarding electrical/chemical/mechanical safety as well as with 3rd party laboratories and internal trainings.
You will gain thorough knowledge of our testing principles, and develop an understanding of product testing from a technical and end consumer perspective. Under our mentorship, you will also learn how to handle a full 360 project and shadow/observe our on the ground Technicians dealing will real world scenarios and develop best practices on problem solving.
You will be at the forefront of the product lifecycle, from the very embryotic stage of product development to product completion and shipment, to understanding how to improve our customer experience for our products.
What you'll need
- Graduates of 2024 or recent graduates with up to 1 year working experience
- Bachelor’s degree with an Upper Second Class/higher or GPA score of at least 3.0 with major, including but not limited to:
- Product / General Engineering
- Electrical / Electronic Engineering
- Product Design
- Chemistry
- Enthusiasm for working in the dynamic sourcing industry, any previous experience being highly advantageous
- Fluency in English, whilst Cantonese, Mandarin and German are advantageous
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills
- Creativity in problem-solving and strong analytical ability
- An appetite for an ambitious career and ability to adapt to new situations within a fast-paced environment
- The right to work in Hong Kong
