What you'll do
During your placement, you will work in our ICC office and your rotations will be exposed to the following areas within the business:
- Sustainability & Regulatory Supply Chain Management
- Compliance standards, remediation & Human rights and environmental topics
- Sustainable products and packaging & Corporate sustainability
- Production Management
- Critical path, on time delivery & Quality inspections, AQL, testing
- Merchandising and Sourcing
- Basic understanding of our products & Product Development and Buying (cost, sustainability, quality, etc.)
- How factories are sourced/orders allocated to existing ones
With Compliance & Sustainability being at the core of everything we do, you will experience the inner works of Sustainability and Compliance with us. From topics like human rights and environmental impacts to understanding how we build sustainable products and packaging you will become an expert in how our sourcing industry maintains its commitment to Sustainability.
What you'll need
- Graduates of 2024 or recent graduates with up to 1 year working experience
- Bachelor’s degree with an Upper Second Class/higher or GPA score of at least 3.0 with major, including but not limited to:
- Sustainability/ Environmental science/management/engineering
- Social Science
- Law (Human Rights focus)
- International Relations
- Textile/ Industrial Engineering, Material Science (with interest in sustainability)
- Supply chain management
- Enthusiasm for working in the dynamic sourcing industry, any previous experience being highly advantageous
- Fluency in English, whilst Mandarin and German are advantageous
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills
- Creativity in problem-solving and strong analytical ability
- An appetite for an ambitious career and ability to adapt to new situations within a fast-paced environment
